Terms of Sale & Use

These terms apply when you use lumisai.co or buy a LUMIS AI™ course, toolkit or license from LUMIS HR Solutions LLC (“we,” “us”). By making a purchase or creating an account, you agree to them.

1. Purchases and pricing

Prices are in U.S. dollars and may change at any time; changes do not affect orders already placed. Payment is due at checkout and is processed securely by Stripe. Purchases appear on your card or bank statement as LUMIS HR SOLUTIONS. Applicable sales tax is added at checkout. Organizations may request an invoice or pay by purchase order for team and organizational licenses.

2. Course access

Each individual course purchase gives one named learner access for at least 12 months from purchase. Your login is personal: please do not share it. We may update course content to keep it current.

3. Individual and team licenses

  • Individual purchases: each individual purchase of a course or the Smarter HR manual is for one person only.
  • Smarter HR Toolkit templates: you may edit and use the templates inside one organization, your own or your employer’s. You may not resell, republish or distribute them, or use them to build a competing product.
  • Team and organizational licenses: cover the number of learners and the organization named in your order or agreement. Team licenses are available on our For Teams page.

All content, including the LUMIS AI Methodology, the LUMIS AI™ Discipline, the LUMIS AI — HR Ecosystem Model™ and related frameworks, names and materials, is owned by LUMIS HR Solutions LLC and protected by copyright and trademark law. Except as described above, it may not be copied, shared or recorded without our written permission.

4. Educational purposes only

LUMIS AI courses, the Smarter HR manual, the Toolkit and other resources provide general education about workforce readiness and responsible AI adoption. They are not legal, compliance or professional advice. Laws governing AI and employment vary by location and change often, so make implementation decisions with qualified professionals who know your organization’s needs.

5. Certificates

Completion certificates confirm that you finished a LUMIS AI course. Unless a course page states otherwise, they are not a professional certification and do not carry continuing education credits.

6. Refunds

Refunds are handled under our Refund Policy.

7. Acceptable use

Please do not share your account, download or copy course videos, attempt to break site security, or use the site for anything unlawful. We may suspend access that breaks these terms.

8. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

Our materials are provided “as is.” We work to keep them accurate and current, but we do not guarantee any particular result from using them. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Maryland.

10. Changes and contact
