LUMIS AI™ is operated by LUMIS HR Solutions LLC (“LUMIS HR Solutions,” “we,” “us”), based in Baltimore, Maryland. This policy explains what information we collect when you visit lumisai.co, request a free resource, buy a course or toolkit, or take a course, and how we use and protect it.
Information we collect
- Information you give us: your name, work email and organization when you request the readiness scorecard or free sample, contact us, or enroll; billing name and address when you buy.
- Payment information: payments are processed by Stripe. We never see or store your full card number. Stripe’s privacy policy applies to the information it processes.
- Course activity: the lessons you complete, quiz results, progress and certificates earned.
- Technical information: basic data your browser sends, such as IP address, device and browser type and pages visited, collected through cookies and site analytics.
How we use it
- To deliver what you asked for: the scorecard, sample, course access, downloads and receipts.
- To track your course progress and issue completion certificates.
- To answer your questions and provide support.
- To send occasional emails about LUMIS AI resources and updates. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link.
- To understand how the site is used and improve it, and to meet legal, tax and accounting obligations.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with third parties for their own advertising.
Who we share it with
We use trusted service providers to run the site, and they process information only to provide their services to us: WordPress.com (hosting), Stripe (payments), our email service (course and marketing emails) and our analytics tools. If your employer buys a team license, we may share your enrollment and course progress with your employer’s program administrator. We may also disclose information when required by law.
Cookies
We use cookies to keep you signed in, remember your cart and course progress, and measure site traffic. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, but parts of the site, such as checkout and courses, may not work without them.
How long we keep it
We keep account and course records for as long as your account is active, and purchase records as long as needed for tax and accounting purposes. You can ask us to delete your information at any time, subject to those legal requirements.
Your choices and rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you, or to stop receiving marketing emails, by contacting us at the address below. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under state privacy laws, and we will honor requests as the law requires. We will not treat you differently for exercising your rights.
Security
We use reasonable safeguards, including encrypted connections and reputable providers, to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.
Children
LUMIS AI is designed for employers and working professionals. It is not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date above, and we will notify you by email of any significant changes.
